MV Doulos is the world’s oldest and biggest floating library in the world from the time of her building in 1914 until being retired from cruising service at the end of 2009. I was lucky enough to see this magnificent ship of knowledge before her retirement in Subic with my friends from Omron – Lei, Edward and Shirley.
Aside from the books, they also have short programs and other activities that you will surely love. This ship is powered by the good will of the volunteers from more than 40 countries. Volunteers are fun to talk to and always smiling. Thanks and goodbye MV Doulous.
