Day 3: Crossing the border – Bangkok to Cambodia

After two (2) days of fun stay in Bangkok, it’s time to pack our things and move to our next destination. Where to go next? CAMBODIA!

Woke up at 3am and bought some food at the near 7/11 store in Rambuttri road since it’s gonna be a long — six (6) hours drive from Bangkok to Aranyaprathet, Thailand.

The process of going out of Thailand (Rongklua border) and going in Cambodia (Poipet) was very easy. Thanks to our guide Tikoy who knew the process very well.

Then after crossing the border, we had to ride a mini-bus for another three (3) hours going to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Not so much sight to enjoy yet. I can really feel the heat although it’s an air-conditioned mini bus.

We finally arrived at Bou Savy Guesthouse where we had our late lunch. Then off to Pub Street and Old Market for sight seeing.

Had the chance to try their exotic foods and Cambodian pedicure & manicure.

Dinner at the Happy Special Pizza.
Went back to our hotel via Tuk Tuk.
It was a tiring yet a happy day for us. Thanks to the happy pizza!
